This park is next to the YMCA on Unversity and is a walking trail around a duck pond. To me it seems like part of the YMCA but everthing has a proper name it seems.

Only image taken was a tree at waters edge at an odd angle.

<08/03/2022] 08/04/2022 - E. Unviversity Blvd & Loop 338 [08/05/2022>

One of the challenges of taking pictures is finding new places to do so, the shopping centers near E. Unviversity Blvd & Loop 338 was next on my list. I captured some nice images from this session.

The Summit Building - The previous images featured stairs and structures but it was this little gem that surprised me. The unknown and not visible from the street is what I investigate further but to find this was beyond my expectations.

Cresent Park Baptist Church - Churches tend to have more scenic landscaping and even in the harsher afternoon light it came out well.

Jim Parker Grove Field - Part of Jim Parker park this image is shot looking at the other seating. It is full of high contrast but works.

on 13th? - The trash can by a party place caught my eye, the challenge was to create the image shown here. The key is to not to look too close as it pushed my editing skills rather crudely but provided good practice.

When looking for something to capture and walking around you never know how all the parts will match up.

Moved onto 33rd & Eastland and found the power station.

Sante Fe Square - Was a good area to explore but got caught my eye was this stair case.

At Music City Mall the large flag is always present, this is another angle I have captured it at but as a photographer I tend to not want to capture people in my images. Can't be avoided most days at a mall but they do add scale and some interest.

Was at What-A-Burger so explored down that alley to see what I could find, the toy car at the edge of the fence was my shot for this day. Sometimes one image is enough.

<08/11/2022] 08/12/2022 - Parkway overpass [08/13/2022>

The scene I kept seeing in my head as I went over the overpass didn't exist but guided me to a space that yielded an image I didn't expect. Much of the land underneath is private property so I didn't venture that far in. This image was what I walked into and photographed.

On top of the bridge the rails cast a shadow that caught my eye.

Dinner was at Mamas on 8th street but a photographers eye is always looking around. Doesn't look artistic but I did try a technique to capture the subtle sway of the lamps.

Between the house and What-A-Burger is a shopping center, not often but sometimes the images find me there. I actually had to do work to pull out the vision of what I saw and while not spectactular I'm including it here to show as an example of post processing helping the photographer.

Post processing saved this image taken almost the restuarant, across the street, it is more artistic but reality is borrowing.
