<04/12/2023] 04/13/2023 - Area of Lotteman & Andrews Hwy [04/14/2023>

McMinn's Furniture on Andrews Hwy is where I parked, the storage units in back is what caught my eye the previous day; however, nothing in particular was special so in the end I found random elements to capture. The surprise was a throw away image that in post processing transformed before my eyes.

The post processing I did here just happened so with mirroring of the image a couple of ways and layering and the magic of rotating the image 90 degrees counter-clockwise this result happened. The salvaged images allows me to just play.

<04/13/2023] 04/14/2023 - Area of 11th & Grant [04/17/2023>

Any light is good light but in truth the better photographs come from the more ideal light, I tend to go out in the the worst light. On this day it was more like high noon and my random target I parked at was nothing special. I had one goal in mind of going where the light wasn't and working with what I found, so shadows cast by structures and a lower point of view worked well. Images presented as is.

<04/14/2023] 04/17/2023 - Westcliff & 42nd [04/18/2023>

A field of concrete along the road was the thing that caught my eye on this trip into the unknown so I stopped and explored it. The concrete was discarded on land with junk left in place so will be another trip to explore to see what I can find but on this trip I found a couch and tree covered up.

A couch and a tree covered with concrete.

An overview of the field.

<04/17/2023] 04/18/2023 - Found something at least [04/20/2023>

Had a target in mind and type of photography that didn't work as envisioned so had to rethink the session. Where I ended up doesn't matter but after some looking around I found these two images, some post processing later and daily challenge was accomplished.

<04/18/2023] 04/20/2023 - Road blocks [04/21/2023>

Under construction is a given and so are blocked roads but from a photographer's point of view when not being worked on it is a new environment to explore. Got a few artistic "documentation" shots at Andrews Hwy & 31st. Presented as is.

<04/24/2023] 04/26/2023 - Greening up [04/27/2023>

One trip out to Comanche Trail Park I saw that transition from winter based and sparse to a more open thicker green of summer. This session I found some new images that this new injection of green into the landscape produced, still alot of familiar scenes I know I have taken before.

Almost kept to all nature based shots but walking back to the car I spotted this scene.
